Luxury Powerboat Charter Lymington

  • Most charter companies use mass-produced, plastic commuter boats which are built for volume rather than ultimate comfort. These lighter boats can feel "rattly" and often slam in a typical Solent chop. Our vessel is a high-quality powerboat with a much heavier build and superior hull integrity. This results in a smoother, quieter and far more sophisticated experience on the water.

  • Tim and Terri. Unlike large fleets where you are assigned a random staff skipper on a rota, you are looked after personally by us, Tim and Terri. We are the owners of the business and we act as your professional Skipper and Hostess team. Because it is our boat and our reputation, the level of care, hospitality and attention to detail is on a completely different level to a hired hand. We point out local landmarks and keep you in the picture of what we’re looking at.

  • Attitude Charter do not run a "conveyor belt" schedule because they have another group waiting the moment you step off. We do not double-book our days. Our focus is on your experience, not a corporate spreadsheet. If you are having a spectacular time and want to stay out for sunset or an extra round of drinks, we have the flexibility to adjust the day to suit you.

  • Absolutely. If you start in Hamble or Southampton, you spend the first hour of your day motoring down a busy, speed-restricted river or passing an oil refinery. Starting in Lymington means you are at the gateway to the most iconic spots (such as Hurst Castle, The Needles and Alum Bay) within minutes. We save you nearly two hours of boring transit time compared to the non-Lymington based boats meaning you get to spend more time at the best places, not simply drive past them without stopping.

  • RIBs are great for a fast, wet blast, but they are not designed for socialising. Sitting on a jockey seat in a waterproof suit is not exactly luxury. Our powerboat features luxury seating, a premium sound system, chilled Champagne from the fridge and a toilet. You can hold a conversation comfortably without the wind-burn or the salt spray and having to shout.

  • This is a common frustration in the industry. Many powerboat charters quote a low base rate and then surprise you with a £400 fuel bill or expensive mooring fees at the end of the day. We believe in total transparency. Our pricing is all-inclusive, so you know exactly what the investment is before we even leave the pontoon.

  • Anyone can drive a boat to a beach, but not everyone has the local relationships to help with the logistics. As a boutique, owner-operated service, we work closely with the best venues on the Island. We help coordinate your bookings and ensure your transition from the boat to your lunch table is seamless and stress-free.

  • In an open boat or a RIB, you are completely at the mercy of the elements. Because our boat is a solid, high-quality build, we offer proper protection. If a summer shower passes through, you have a dry area to retreat to. It’s often 5c cooler on the water so remember to wear something suitable for a breeze and, to protect our deck, soft souled shoes only please. We do provide dry robes so have you covered either way.

  • If you need to cancel:
    – More than 30 days before: 100% refund minus a £100 cancellation fee
    – Less than 30 days before: 50% refund
    – Less than 14 days before: 0% refund

Where possible we will always try to rebook your trip ASAP to avoid penalties.

  • Standard fleets usually just send a booking confirmation and a map. We provide a full pre-departure service. Whether you need us to source a specific vintage of wine, coordinate a birthday surprise, or arrange luxury transport to the marina, we handle the friction. You are booking a team that ensures the entire day is effortless.

Like Spinal Tap, we like to go to 11.
